  HELLO

Hello
I am Jan, well one of them, the mad one I am told, usually by my family and friends! although I am not totally convinced, I think the other Jan is madder! She spends her days in the workshop talking to her machines. Me, I just talk to the Fairies, occasionally I moan at the computer, but this is perfectly acceptable behaviour I am told.
Joking aside I hope you will all enjoy being involved in the forum that my wizard has so tirelessly worked on, he says the only difficult part was getting me to respond to his requests by email, but here we are, and I look forward to my friends and customers participating in the forum and making it what they want it to be. Please use and enjoy!.

  Hello and Welcome
Posted by: admin - 18-10-2009 02:09 AM - No Replies

Hello and welcome to our forum.
We are opening this forum to give all our friends and customers the opportunity to get to talk with each other.
I was going to explain what it was about and how we are going to use it and I started to think about it and then I realised we don't know how we are going to use it, this depends almost entirely on the users.
The system has the initial layout as some sort of initial organisation was needed, we had to start somewhere but this will change as need demands.
It is our intention to keep the rules to a minimum in the belief that common courtesy will suffice but we will respond to any objections raised to any message.
Rules will be created and published as and when necessary. We have decided that initially, the membership will be open to all and all that will be required to register is a name and a valid email address, these will not be published, only a screen name will be displayed. Registration is easy, click the registration button (just below the Title at the top of every page) it intialy says "Welcome Guest Login/Register" and then follow the instructions that should appear. The only pieces of information we require are a user name, i.e. the name you will known by on this forum. An e-mail address, this must be a real address and you must have access to it, it will be used to send you logon instructions as part of your registration procedure. This address will not be revealed to anyone other than the forum administators and will only be used by them to make contact in relation to the forum. Now, let us open the doors and see what happens!
